The Georgia Chamber of Commerce recently reported…“Skills that are increasingly difficult to find in the current workforce and in our future workforce candidates are Technical Skills, Critical Thinking/Problem-Solving Skills, and Communication Skills.” These skills are now referred to as professional skills and are a must-have employee attribute for solving problems in the future. How will we teach these skills to the Workforce of the Future?

Your future workforce attended the Middle Georgia Robotics Bootcamp: Taking Your Team to the NEXT LEVEL on June 17-18th. Our First Robotic Competition (FRC) and FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotic students enjoyed two full days of activities and training at Middle Georgia State University in Macon. The students and coaches had a great time learning technical skills with the use of GIT and Java.

Project Management, Here Comes the Judge, Next Level Thinking, and Branding and Sponsorships were taught to enhance their communication skills.

Teambuilding activities were also used to promote creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

When you see these t-shirts (Robotics: Future Workforce) out in the community, know that these students are part of our middle Georgia robotics teams and are very talented. They are also your future aerospace engineers and mechanical engineers. They have interest in prosthetics, marketing and mechatronics.
They know how to work in teams and completely design, build and program a robot in 6 weeks to compete in region and state competitions.

They are your FUTURE WORKFORCE!
